Being a lover of jazz and growing up in New York and later moving to the tri-state area, I was immersed and surrounded by the culture of east coast jazz. This inspired me to write the back stories of the creators and practitioners especially the female divas, whose stories need to be told. 

 

The mission of this play is to tell the story about the journey of three jazz divas, in past present and future. 3 Divas 3 is unique in how it depicts the lives and background stories of three women entertainers.  This a universal story with universal lessons. It appeals to young and old audiences alike with the goal to teach, uplift, inspire and encourage.

 

After each performance we hope you leave with only one question " When is the next performance?" By utilizing the amazing talents of our city's up and coming artists along with original scripts, and original music, we hope many will walk away wanting to be a part of the experience and spread the word.
